Belum mencapai waktu 1 minggu setelah Update 7.07 Dueling Fates diberikan, pihak Valve sudah memberikan Patch 7.07b untuk kembali melakukan Balance pada beberapa hal.
Melihat perubahan yang signifikan dalam Update 7.07 Dueling Fates pastinya akan membawa dampak pada Gameplay dan juga mekanisme dalam Dota 2. Lalu biasanya akan ada beberapa perubahan yang membuat Hero menjadi IMBA atau malah terlalu di-Nerf dan menyebabkan Hero tersebut tidak mampu bersaing lagi dan membuatnya menjadi tidak populer lagi untuk digunakan.
Dalam Patch 7.07b akan terdapat perubahan Item dan juga perbaikan pada 19 Hero yang mungkin Overpowered ataupun juga Underpowered. Berikut beberapa hal yang kami rasa cukup penting untuk diperhatikan :
1. Perubahan pada beberapa Item
- Aeon Disk : Biaya resep turun dari 1.750 menjadi 1.675 Gold
- Mask of Madness : Armor Reduction bertambah dari 6 ke 7
- Battle Fury : Damage berkurang dari 50 menjadi 45
- Meteor Hammer : DPS turun dari 60/115 menjadi 50/90 (Building/Units)
- Meteor Hammer : Memberikan 75/150 Impact Damage (Buildings/Units)
Item terbaru Meteor Hammer merupakan Item yang jarang digunakan karena Cast Range yang terbilang kecil dan membutuhkan Channel Time selama 3 detik yang terbilang lama dan membahayakan Hero Anda sendiri. Jadi tampaknya pemberian Impact Damage bertujuan untuk membuat Item ini agar lebih sering digunakan.
2. Perubahan pada beberapa Hero
Dengan Hero Tiny dan Morphling yang masuk dalam 2 Hero dengan penurunan Win Rate terburuk setelah Update 7.07 Dueling Fates, pihak Valve langsung mengambil langkah untuk memperbaiki 2 Hero tersebut dalam Patch 7.07b.
- Tiny
Skill baru Tiny yaitu Tree Grab kini mendapatkan penurunan Cooldown yang sangat signifikan dari yang dulunya 40/32/24/16 menjadi hanya 15 detik saja. Kemudian Splash Damage dari Skill ini ditingkatkan menjadi 100% dari yang dulunya hanya 70%. Talent Level 10 juga mendapatkan sedikit penambahan dari +25 Damage menjadi +30 Damage dan +15% Magic Resistance menjadi +20% Magic Resistance.
Tiny Changelogs :
- Base strength increased by 4
- Tree Grab cooldown from 40/32/24/16 to 15
- Tree Grab splash damage from 70% to 100%
- Tree Grab unit bonus damage increased from 25% to 30%
- Tree Grab attack count increased from 2/3/4/5 to 2/3/4/6
- Grow attack speed reduction rescaled from -30 to -20/25/30
- Tossed unit bonus damage increased from 20% to 30%
- Level 10 Talent increased from +25 Damage to +30
- Level 10 Talent increased from +15% Magic Resistance to +20%
Jelas sekali pihak Valve memberikan perbaikan pada Tiny agar dapat kembali kompetitif untuk digunakan dalam pertandingan.
- Morphling
Kini Morphling kembali hadir di Captain's Mode dalam Patch 7.07b setelah sebelumnya sempat dihilangkan setelah Update 7.07. Perubahan yang paling besar dalam Patch ini adalah pada Skill Adaptive Strike (Agility) yaitu Min Damage Multiplier meningkat dari 0,25 menjadi 0,5 (Mencapai 2x lipat) lalu untuk Max Damage Multiplier bertambah dari 0.5/1.0/1.5/2.0 menjadi 1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5. Untuk Adaptive Strike (Strength) Min Stun bertambah dari 0,25 menjadi 0,5. Lalu Attribute Shift Bonus Agility dan Strength juga bertambah sedikit dari 3/4/5/6 menjadi 4/5/6/7.
Morphling Changelogs :

- Adaptive Strike (Agility) min damage multiplier increased from 0.25 to 0.5
- Adaptive Strike (Agility) max damage multiplier increased from 0.5/1.0/1.5/2.0 to 1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5

Mendapatkan penurunan Win Rate drastis setelah Update 7.07 membuat Hero ini langsung ditinggalkan oleh para gamer. Tapi melihat ini mungkin Morphling dapat kembali memiliki peluang untuk menjadi Hero yang baik untuk digunakan.
- Anti Mage
Untuk Anti Mage, Hero ini mengalami peningkatan Win Rate yang signifikan setelah Update 7.07 Dueling Fates hingga 9%. Oleh karena itu pihak Valve memutuskan untuk melakukan Nerf pada beberapa Talent dari Anti Mage dan juga beberapa hal untuk menyeimbangkan Hero Core ini. Pertama Attributes dari Anti Mage dikurangi yaitu peningkatan Strength turun dari 1,5 menjadi 1,3 dan Base Intelligence turun dari 15 menjadi 12. Talent Level 15 yaitu Blink Uncontrollable Illusion digantikan dengan +15 Agility sedangkan pada Level 20 +10 All Stats digantikan oleh Blink Uncontrollable Illusion yang sekarang akan menerima Damage 300%. Lalu Talent terakhir yang terasa paling IMBA yaitu +30% Spell Shield berkurang menjadi +25% Spell Shield.
Anti Mage Changelogs :
- Strength gain reduced from 1.5 to 1.3
- Base Intelligence reduced from 15 to 12
- Spell Shield reduced from 26/34/42/50% to 20/30/40/50%

- Pangolier
Pangolier merupakan Hero yang cukup bagus untuk digunakan sebenarnya tapi sayangnya Hero baru ini hanya memiliki Win Rate sebesar 38%. Oleh karena itu Hero ini akan mendapatkan Buff pada Skill Rolling Thunder yang akan lebih mudah untuk dikontrol dan juga Skill Shield Crash akan membuat Pangolier bergerak sebanyak 225 Unit dan bisa melewati rintangan. Selain itu banyak juga penambahan Damage pada Skill-Skill yang diharapkan akan membantu Hero Pangolier dalam pertempuran nantinya.
Pangolier Changelogs :
- Swashbuckle now changes your attack damage to 24/42/60/78 rather than just dealing physical damage as an independent nuke (this means the listed amount can now proc for lifesteal, crit, etc)
- Shield Crash damage reduction increased from 8/10/12/14 to 9/12/15/18%
- Shield Crash now causes you to move forward 225 units (can traverse terrain with it)
- Rolling Thunder now has a 1.2s cast time rather than a 1.2s channel period
- Rolling Thunder turn rate increased from 105/110/115 to 120
- Rolling Thunder speed increased from 550/575/600 to 600
- Rolling Thunder speed is now fixed
- Rolling Thunder damage increased from 200/250/300 to 200/275/350
- Fixed Swashbuckle attacks not affecting Spell Immune units
